Founder of Sarah Delevan Consulting and your partner in building a profitable food business

I love good food. In a “at-the-farmers-market-every-weekend, read-every-ingredient-on-the-back-of-that-package” kind of way.

So much so, that I co-founded a food business back in 2012 with the goal of building community around good food. It was my dream business, but the finances couldn’t support it long term. 

With broken hearts we had to close up shop after 2 years of business. 

Around that time I learned how common it is for good food businesses to go under. Traditional industry practices don’t apply to the way good food businesses choose to work, but we shouldn’t have to pay the price.  

So I set out to make a difference in the way good food businesses approach their finances, because unique businesses like yours require unique solutions.

I have a talent for understanding, diagnosing, and improving the financial performance of food businesses. From the ingredient sourcing, to product and menu pricing, to building scalable systems for long term success, I’m able to see what’s going on in a business’s day-to-day operations just as clearly as I can see the big picture.

So after honing these skills and building proven, repeatable methods and systems, I founded Sarah Delevan Consulting in 2017. Since then we’ve helped more than 50 businesses achieve financial sustainability and profitability, and I remain steadfast in my mission to change our food system one profitable good food business at a time.

We hope to tackle the rapidly increasing levels of burnout food business owners are experiencing. Keisha Davis

Vice President of Operations

Keisha has more energy than the Energizer Bunny, and is a master at creating efficient systems and processes that enable us to stay focused on what is most important - our clients.

When she’s not keeping Sarah Delevan Consulting & The Good Food CFO’s operations running smoothly you can usually find Keisha running or hiking in nature, or playing music. She is a skilled violinist and guitar player, she never says no to a drum circle or a live show, and knows the words to just about any song you can think of.

Keisha also manages our Client Support email, and is the first person you’ll communicate with when connecting with us, and coordinating your consultation or Profit Assessment, so be sure to say hi!
